From what I’m hearing and seeing, the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 printer may be the ideal choice for anyone looking for a (rather large!) “desktop” printer that will handle 17″ paper.*

We have several printers here. OK, we have FOUR printers! They range from the usual desktop until printer on up to the Epson p-9000, a 44″ monster.

Our 17″ printer (an older Epson model) has been giving us fits. The primary problem has to do with the paper feeder, which has now pretty much stopped working entirely. We understand that this model, the P900, is known for this issue. When it works it produces prints… but it is no longer working.

Looking around at various reviews and reports, we keep seeing the Canon Pro-1100 getting very high reviews!
