(There is a part of me that sees everything as landscape – e.g. the Getty Center is simply an urban or human landscape.)
Thanks, AW. And, yes, a great example of the “Sierra Wave” – we were in the desert east of Mammoth in May that spring for our annual “sleep-cheap-in-the-desert-but-eat-at-great-restaurants-and-ski-at-mammoth-Memorial-Day-weekend” trip.
It is “Mo’s Cloud” because our friend Maureen (aka “Mo”) had watched the cloud during most of the drive up 395 from the south.
Both are lovely, Dan! I especially like Mo’s Cloud, though. That’s the Sierra Wave!
