I’m happiest when a site like this one is in a relatively stable mode, and I’m less happy when things change and I must delve into server-related stuff. I’ve had to do the latter this past week. It was partly my own fault for avoiding some necessary updates to the server environment. I took care of that, but then had to update a bunch of other stuff (like the software supporting the gallery portion of the site) for compatibility reasons. And stuff broke. I’m still wrestling with a problem that affects the display of the photos when I embed them in my other web sites. Oh, and I’m playing around with the addition of a forum.

Sigh. For awhile yesterday it seemed that no links from this page to other pages on the site were working except the links to the gallery. (Actually, it seemed that all of the links were going to the gallery pages.) I think I have sorted that out now. Do let me know if you encounter any problems though.

Fingers crossed…

Oh, yes, I did get out to do some photography yesterday. Some of the results are now in the queue and will appear on this page later in the month. If you just cannot wait, the photos do show up in the gallery before they arrive on this home page – and I posted several yesterday.
