Noted landscape photographer (and friend!) Charles Cramer will present a free talk at De Anza College in Cupertino, California at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10. The event is open to the public. Judging by the crowd at the last talk of his that I attended (at the Palo Alto Camera Club) in the SF Bay Area, I recommend arriving early. I’ll be there for sure – not just because I’m a big fan of Charlie’s work, but also because the presentation will be in the classroom where I teach almost every day.
I’ll be at tonight’s monthly San Francisco Photography Meetup Group get-together. It is always a fun event and a good time to get together to view photographs and talk photography. I’m bringing some recent prints from my recent Death Valley visits and perhaps a few others.
In the sidebar of this web site I have a list of some of interesting photographers who catch my attention for various reasons. I added a couple new photographers to the list today… but I’m not going to say which ones are new. This is my devious way of encouraging you to explore some of those links and the wonderful photography you will find if you visit them.
You can find the links on any page at this site – just scroll down to find them in the sidebar along the left side of the page. The links take you away from this site and to the web sites of the respective photographers. Enjoy!
Once again Jim M Goldstein has collected and posted his annual list of many photographers’ “best of 2010” lists and post. There are 160 links in this year’s list! There is also a lot of really fine photography in that list, and it is worth taking some time to browse through the links – though don’t fool yourself into thinking that you’ll be able to get through it in one sitting!
