The story: Fletcher Meadow borders Fletcher Lake, in the Yosemite National Park backcountry near the Vogelsang High Sierra Camp. On this late summer pack trip I had set up my camera near the west side of the meadow and as the sun quickly set, I tracked its shadow as it moved across the meadow. Mount Conness is in the distance.
