Welcome to Visitors from TroutUnderground and GoBlog

Tom Chandler at
***TheTroutUnderground
contacted me this week to ask if he could use a few photos to point at my blog – and it looks like he did so today.

During the past couple of weeks I’ve managed to get to the eastern Sierra a few times to take in the annual but always astonishing fall aspens, and I have started to post photographs here. I’m very happy to hear that Tom enjoys the photography, and I hope visitors who come here via his site feel the same way. Readers should take a look at Tom’s site – even non-fisherpeople will enjoy it.

I also noticed a recent link from GoBlog, where some of my photos were used as proof that there is, indeed, an autumn season in California! (See Who Says There’s No Fall in California!.)

Visitors may also be interested in a companion blog I run: dan’s outside. It also features photos, but more text… which could be a good thing, or not. ;-)

Again, thanks for visiting.

– Dan

(And later… Ed Felker wrote to say that he has spent entirely too much time looking at my photos and will likely have to work late today. ;-)
