One More Time: Canon Lens and Speedlite ‘Instant Rebate’ Ends Soon

I’ll mention this one final time: The Canon Lens and Speedlite ‘Instant Rebate’ Sale ends this week. It includes some very good prices on a wide range of lenses and all (?) of Canon’s Speedlites. One highlight – available through this link – is the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS zoom for $1974.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS for Under $2000

If you are a Canon photographer you probably know that the EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS telephoto zoom  is one of the best lenses that Canon makes… and that the list price is well into the $2000 range. Right now, for a short time, B&H Photo is offering the lens for only $1974. That is $400 off of the regular price, $100 less than the current ‘Instant Rebate’ price, and the first time I’ve seen the lens available for less than $2000. If you have been eyeing this lens, I think that now is the time to make your purchase! More information at the Deals page.

Updated Lens Reviews: Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L, 24-105mm f/4 L IS, 70-200mm f/4 L IS

I’ve been posting to this blog in one form or another for over a half-dozen years now. One side effect of this is that certain articles that made sense when posted years ago end up looking pretty dated today! I found several of those while doing some maintenance on the site today. A couple mentioned my then-current 8MP cropped sensor camera and so forth – gear I haven’t used for years.

With that in mind, I have updated the following posts:

All three are lenses that are core elements of my own kit. (They are also included in the current Canon ‘Instant Rebate” promotion that runs for about another week!)

For the Procrastinators Among Us

I just added a brief note at the Deals Page concerning some last-minute prices from B&H, the methods by which you can still have the product shipped in time, and a note about free overnight shipping on a some products.
