It looks like Inge Fernau has begun her (annual?) posting of fall color photographs from the Sierra Nevada. As I understand it – you can read more at her site – every fall she heads to the eastern Sierra and spends far more time than I do pursuing the annual autumn foliage and other seasonal subjects.

Their archives include shows about many well-known artists, including night photographer Todd Hido. Todd is best known about night photographers from his book “House Hunting”, which includes numerous photographs of quiet, suburban homes at night….

Sublime or Ridiculous… or Something
The story is making the rounds at photography sites on the net (example here) about the recent photo of distressed blond woman in the back of a limo and the fact that it was shot by Nick Ut, the same photographer who captured the iconic Vietnam war photo of a young girl running from her burning village.
