Thanks, guys. Sounds like you see it much as I did. It is hard to see in this on-screen smallish image, but the fence also leads away into the scene and over the hill.
I also like the top heavy composition, as well as the subtle fence line which adds interest.
I like the heavy emphasis on the sky in this photo. The variation in color and shape is very interesting. Of course the fence helps provide a needed sense of scale to it all. It works very well all in all.
