Thanks, again, Rob. I had a lot of fun with this photo and several others in this series. I took the train up to The City – as I frequently do – and was on one of my photo walks along the Embarcadero early in the morning. This “thing” (sorry, don’t have a name for it) topped some of the pier supports at a landing right behind ATT Park. I’ve long been intrigued by the ships moored out in SF Bay, especially in the morning light, and somehow the idea of putting them in the background behind this odd structure just hit me.
