This is one of my favorite morning views of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge as it soars high above the Embarcadero on its way across San Francisco Bay towards Treasure Island and Oakland and points east.

The water was extremely smooth on this somewhat hazy morning along the Embarcadero near the San Francisco Giants’ ATT Park.

(A note: It was something of a pleasant surprise when this photo emerged on the home page from the queue this morning. So much has happened in the last month or so – daughter’s wedding, moving a son from Seattle to the SF Bay Area, conclusion of another school year, etc. – that the day I made this photo seems like it might have been a year ago!)
