Black and white photograph looking up Second street from AT&T Park with San Francisco downtown and incoming fog.

I was leaving a Giants-Cubs game (Giants won!) at AT&T Park when I saw this scene looking up toward downtown San Francisco with the classic view of the fog rolling in over the city in the early evening. Yes, I take my camera to ball games, too. :-)

This is one of my favorite morning views of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge as it soars high above the Embarcadero on its way across San Francisco Bay towards Treasure Island and Oakland and points east.

These abandoned tanks and related equipment dominate this historic Seattle park. I return here almost every time when I visit Seattle and I especially like the cloudy conditions like those on the day I made this photograph.

Just before Christmas I had the chance to loop out to Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay (on the return drive from winter solstice at Muir Woods) and photograph the night skyline of San Francisco.

The parking lot near the entrance to the old Treasure Island base is always a great spot from which to photograph the waterfront and skyline of San Francisco – but it is especially good during the holiday season when many downtown buildings are lit up by holiday lights.
